Software that pays for itself!Several exciting features built into the ConsignPro program can help you
recover your software investment (literally) in a month or two. Below we explain each
feature which can be used to directly increase store revenues or reduce store costs.
| Buyers Fees |
When you turn on buyers fees in ConsignPro, the software automatically adds
either a flat dollar amount (ex. 50 cents) or an amount based on the price of the item
(ex. 5%) to the ticketed price. This fee is paid by the "buyer" but not passed
on to the consignor. None of our consignor reports reflect this
"surcharge" so the appearance (to the consignor) is that they are receiving the
correct split percentage. ConsignPro customer have used this feature to literally make
thousands of extra dollars a year. Buyers fees can be setup on our Maintain Store screen. |
| Auto-move inventory |
When a consigned item expires on the consignor account, ConsignPro can
automatically move that item to the store account (after a number of grace-period days).
When the item then sells, the STORE gets paid, not the consignor. Most store owners have
wording in their consignor contracts that explains that the item is forfeitted after a
certain time period. |
| Comeback Buks |
Our newest feature, "ComeBack Buks" is a special coupon that
automatically prints on the bottom of the customers 3" sales receipt. The coupon
amount is based on the amount of their current purchase (ie. 5%, 10%, etc) and a coupon
expiration date can be set. This coupon gives incentive to the customer to return to the
store within a certain time period (set by you) for a certain discount (also set by you) -
encouraging repeat business! This feature is set on our Maintain Store screen. |
| Customer Wish List |
Have a customer who always is looking for Waterford crystal? In ConsignPro
you can add this request to our Wish List, then print the Wish List once a week to see
what available items match the wishes of your customers. The Wish List has customer phone
numbers and names to make contacting eager buyers a snap. |
| Per-item charges |
Have a cleaning, repair, or delivery charge you'd like to easily recover
from your consignor? Set the "Item Charge" field on the Inventory screen and
that charge is recovered from the consignors split when the item is sold. |
| SmartPricing |
Pricing your inventory is the key to your success as a store owner, but you
often don't have the time to do it all yourself. With the ConsignPro SmartPricing feature,
you can set "suggested" prices for each description that you enter into the
system. Then, when a clerk or salesperson is adding inventory to the database, your
suggested price appears automatically. Price item consistently and your store makes more
money! |
